Resumen

El cultivo de la hoja de coca en el Perú durante el período 2000-2015 no ha experimentado grandes cambios en términos de las áreas cultivadas. La estructura del mercado de la producción a nivel regional es muy concentrada, tal como lo muestran los valores de los índices de Herfindhal-Hirschman, Horvath, Rosenbluth y el coeficiente de entropía. Los compradores de la hoja de coca (para fines no lícitos) poseen un fuerte poder de mercado o de oligopsonio. Algunos pocos carteles son los grandes compradores de la hoja de coca.
