Peruvian illustrated flora - Inga (Leguminosae) Guabas and Pacaes of Peru

A taxonomic treatment of the genus Inga for Peru is presented here, where 116 species are included. This treatment includes a key to Peruvian species by department, descriptions, illustrations, comments on affinities and distribution. Eleven new species are also described (Inga abbreviata T.D.Penn., I. bicentenaria T.D.Penn. & S. Palacios, I. gongylodes T.D.Penn., I. mendozana T.D.Penn., I. neurostipula T.D.Penn., I. patelliformis T.D.Penn., I. promisora T.D.Penn., I. rubella T.D.Penn, I. tambopatensis T.D.Penn., I. straminea T.D.Penn. and I. rodolfovasquezii T.D.Penn.) and a new combination is proposed, Inga subcapitata (T.D.Penn.) T.D.Penn
