SOLUCIONES BASADAS EN LA NATURALEZA: UN ANÁLISIS BIBLIOMÉTRICO DE TENDENCIAS PASADAS, PRESENTES Y FUTURAS

Resumo

Las soluciones basadas en la naturaleza (SbN) son un tema de investigación que últimamente está adquiriendo mayor interés debido a sus iniciativas internacionales. Aquí, desarrollamos un análisis bibliométrico utilizando software de código abierto para comprender mejor las tendencias temáticas dentro de la producción de investigación internacional. Se buscó en la literatura utilizando la base de datos Scopus desde 2016 (año de definición oficial de SbN por parte de la Unión Internacional para la Conservación de la Naturaleza), hasta 2023 y se encontraron 293 documentos que comprenden artículos, capítulos de libros, reseñas, ponencias de congresos y notas científicas, entre otros. El proceso de revisión de documentos se realizó mediante el uso de un software de código abierto para obtener tendencias y gráficos de mapeo científico. Se analizó la producción científica relacionada con autores, palabras clave, instituciones y países para descubrir las tendencias en el área de investigación de SbN. Los hallazgos indicaron que entre 2016 y 2023, la investigación de SbN tuvo una tasa de aumento anual del 777.2 %, un promedio de 11.43 citas por documento y una tasa de colaboración internacional del 43.69 %. El cambio climático, los servicios ecosistémicos y la biodiversidad fueron temas amplios y transversales, mientras que otros temas, como la gestión del agua, el uso de la tierra y la participación de las partes interesadas, evolucionaron para volverse más especializados e integradores de nuevos enfoques y métodos, junto con estos temas transversales. Finalmente, las posibles brechas o direcciones podrían cubrirse con el uso de nuevas tecnologías como la inteligencia artificial y la evolución en temas específicos como la seguridad hídrica y los peligros hidrometeorológicos de maneras más integradoras.
